![]() ![]() I understand that I didn’t find the ideal place to throw up but I figured it was better than the floor and that it did not merit a €60 fine. While I was trying to recover enough to get some sleep the guy at the front desk stormed over and explained I would have to pay a fine of over €60 for “not knowing how to throw up in the toilet” and rudely remarked that if I don’t know how to throw up properly I should just go sleep on the streets. I cleaned it up myself and removed it all with no help from the guy. I ended up not making it to the toilet and puked in the sink. I ended up getting sick from traveling (I was not drunk considering I only had one beer that afternoon) and I woke up at 3 in the morning feeling nauscious. There is not a common space unless you pay extra which makes it difficult to pass time with friends. We were greeted very kindly and had a wonderful first day however the service at the front desk was not the kindest. A few of our friends stayed in an air bnb outside of the city and it was nice not to have to figure out public transport or take an Uber anywhere, an expense that is usually hidden in traveling. I stayed here for a weekend and the prices were fairly good for being right in the middle of the city.
